Would you wear it? The Mike Brady look book

Robert Reed could wear anything.

It's called fashion, sweetie... Look it up!

For those of us not lucky enough to partake in the fashion of the '70s, giant pressed collars and loud patterns might seem alien. But to anyone who was there for it, they were just part of what made the era special.

Mike Brady was there, standing tall, serving up Dad looks that still set trends. Take a look back and let us know whether you'd be caught dead in any of these outfits. Maybe menswear isn't your thing! In that case, just pick whether or not you think the style looked any good.

I like how he always had those sensible inexpensive canvas Kmart 'sneakers' & red or blue short sleeve sweatshirts. Classic Mike Brady.

30% Ha, I'm 64 and still have a couple pair of navy surplus bell-bottoms I wear once in a while. I just wear what I like.

90% Those were the days to look ridiculous because everyone else did too. I remember my dad wearing striped shorts and checkered shirt and he thought it was great...wow!

90% similar. While I would like to know what the wardrobe people (and the designers) were thinking with some of those shirts, my dad left behind a closet full of solid-color sport shirts when he passed--my mom was gone and my sister was married, so I got left with the majority of the packing up. One day, I had to go out somewhere (this was 16 years ago) and for whatever reason, I grabbed one of his sport shirts. With only a couple of exceptions, they fit me very well...a bit long, but then I'm five feet one on a good day and my daddy was a foot taller...

In the book Growing up Brady, I read that most of the clothes were their own. True, or false… Who knows.
